 Kingdom- THIS IS WAR!!!

 

Mathew 11:12;    2Corinthians10:4 2Tim2:4

 

Introduction:

 

The bible refers to the Christian life as a journey, a race, a walk, and also a battle.

 

1. What real issues in war, can we expect to find in the Christian life?

     e.g

Human wars                                                 Christian wars

There is a real enemy in war                                      We have satan to contend with

Planned tactics are applied in war                           We need biblical strategies

 

2. What tactitics does our enemy use on us?

     Lies; guilt; temptation; distractions (2Tim2:4); disappointments; delay; blurring of visions; fear; etc.

 

3. Give an example of a battle that you have had to fight in your own life or in the life of your family.

 

4. What strategies should we employ in order to OVERCOME the enemy?

 

    Remember who you are in Christ………….the blood of the lamb (Rev 12:11 ) We are His forever therefore we can see through lies and conquer guilt.

 

Because we know who we are in Christ, we know have the mandate and means to destroy the enemies schemes………through prayer. (James 5: 14-16.)
